On Saturday, August 22, Tourism and Wildlife Cabinet Secretary Rebecca Miano confirmed that a multi-agency operation has arrested four suspects as persons of interest, with detectives actively pursuing a fifth individual.
Following the recovery of 18 carcasses since late June, multi-agency search sweeps across Tikondo and Kimana in Loitokitok Sub-County yielded a critical breakthrough: officers seized several unlabeled, highly toxic substances and chemicals believed to have been smuggled from a neighboring country.
