Author Bio

Behind the Lens and on the Page
Clark Savage’s perspective as a writer was shaped by more than thirty-five years as a professional portrait photographer and studio owner. In the studio, technical skill is merely the foundation; the true art lies in storytelling and emotional connection—capturing the story told in the subject’s eyes, expressions, and body language.
From the Studio to the Savannah
Because much of the work is done on location, Clark is no stranger to the extensive preparation, travel, and execution required to bring a vision to life. He brings that same discipline to his fiction, fueled by a lifelong passion for storytelling and a commitment to wildlife conservation.
Clark writes with a singular focus on emotional resonance: if a scene doesn’t move him to tears while writing, it won’t move the reader. This dedication to heart and authenticity defines his work as a novelist.
Life in Georgia
When he’s not behind the lens or at his desk, Clark is a leader within the Rotary Club of Alpharetta. He lives in Georgia with his wife, Stacia, and a 175-pound English Mastiff who—despite not contributing financially toward the mortgage—firmly believes she owns the place.
